What Little zombies don't love brains? My boys absolutely love this treat, and it's goes perfect with watching kids spooky Halloween movies. This treat is also especially easy to make and have your children help as well. I love how simple this was and I had all the ingredients in my pantry.
Ingredients:
6 cups of pop popcorn
1 bag of 10oz marshmallows
3 tablespoons of margarine or butter
Red food coloring and a paint brush
Directions:
Follow the directions on the popcorn and pop 6 cups of popcorn put aside
Then melt butter and marshmallows on low heat, stir occasionally. Do you not overcook mixture. This will take about five minutes to melt down into a creamy texture.
Almost there don't give up
Remove from heat then Add the food coloring, about two drops of liquid food coloring or one squeeze of gel food coloring and I'm using gel food coloring. Mixs the food coloring in well if you need to add more coloring add it.
After add the popcorn and stir well making sure all the popcorn is cover in the marshmallow.
As I said kids love doing this, he had so much fun making this.
Now it's time to lightly Oil or I used Pam butter spray your hands. Take some popcorn marshmallow mixture and mold them into equal size balls. This mixture is ment to make eight but if you want them littler you can make them smaller.
Because I had my children help not all the balls came out equal which is completely okay, they had fun getting messy.
My boys decided to add creepy gummy's to them, but at this point you add coloring to the center of the popcorn balls and use a brush to paint a line down the center.
