Easy macaroni and cheese bacon recipe

My kids are picky eaters but this one is a no-brainer. No complaints no fighting just silent at the table as they munch away. This is definitely easy I had my seven-year-old helped make it and he enjoyed it even more. So let's get started.

Here's what you'll need:
8 ounces elbow macaroni ( I chose whole-grain macaroni noodles)
1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 dash of black pepper
2 cups of milk
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
4 to 5 slices of bacon cooked and chopped into bite-size pieces
Serving size 4

Direction:
1) cook the macaroni according to the directions

2) In a medium pan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in flour, salt and pepper; slowly add the milk
This is what it will look like before you add the milk

3) cook and stir until it bubbles, it's best to use a whisk it's a lot like making gravy

4) stir in cheese until melted, then add the bacon

5) Drain macaroni; and to cheese sauce; stir until macaroni is entirely coated.

And enjoy!
